61-yr-old man arrested for deflowering and defiling a 15-yr-old girl for four years

 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, has charged a 61-year-old man, Alfa Olayiwola Rasak, to court for allegedly r*ping a 15-year-old girl.

Rasak was charged to court on Friday, October 22, for R*pe contrary to Section 34(1) and p*nishable under section 34(2) of the Child Rights Law of Oyo State by the Anti-Human trafficking and child protection unit of the command.

The command’s spokesperson , CSC Oluwole Olusegun, who disclosed this in a statement, said the suspect was arrested for defiling the minor and had continuously r*ped her for over 4 years. He was said to have deflowered the girl when she was 11 years.

The suspect was dr*gged before Chief Magistrate S. H. Adebisi of family court 1 Iyaganku Ibadan and after hearing the count charges against him, the suspect pleaded guilty and was asked to be remanded in Abolongo correctional facility till November 8, 2021.
