Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Executive governor of Kwara state has been awarded “ Governor of the year 2020 ” by the Leadership newspaper.


 The Governor was chosen after the board of Editors vetted all aspects of his administration, from which his sterling leadership  performance was determined to be the most outstanding of the nominees. 

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has redefined governance in Nigeria by assessing , evaluating and restructuring all facets of the administration of the sixteen local government areas of Kwara state . 

The Governor on resumption , was faced with a lot of challenges in the state from decaying infrastructure to a crippling educational sector The Governor  was able to tackle each issue head-on resulting in a dynamic change in all sectors of Kwara state. 

Highest number of Health consultants employed in the state , Eight state of the art ambulances. Ilorin general hospital accreditation to train resident doctors. Also the state has the largest ICU center in central Nigeria today.First ever infectious disease center in the state with ventilators , defibrillators , oxygen concentrators etc .  Recruitment of 155 new health workers , with 46 already being deployed to various parts of the state . Renovation and equipping 27 PHC across the state .

Education has received a boast by having a recruitment system fueled purely by merit .
Creation of various public water facilities across the state.Creation of social service programme ( KWASSIP) , the most ICT driven in the country This administration has created the first agricultural master plan for development that will be effective for the next ten years.

Also his administration is the most gender/ age  inclusive administration in Nigeria today.

He has exceeded his administration’s milestone goals  in the areas of capacity building , infrastructural development , quality education ,  poverty alleviation, state security etc.

NBA Youngboy now a father of 7 at age 21 after welcoming child with Yaya Mayweather

NBA YoungBoy, who turned 21 in October 2020, has welcomed his 7th child already.   The Baton Rouge, Louisiana-born rapper welcomed his 7th child with Yaya Mayweather, the 20-year-old daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr.   Back in October, Yaya’s father, Floyd Mayweather Jr., confirmed that his daughter and NBA YoungBoy were expecting their first child, saying: "I just want the best for my daughter, always want the best. If that makes her happy, then we’re happy, me and her mother are happy."   Just last year, on November 26, while awaiting the birth of his seventh child, Youngboy welcomed his 6th child with actress Drea Symone.   His 6th and 7th children are less than 2 months apart in age.   YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, began having kids as a teenager. Pres. Buhari’s poverty alleviation, job creation programmes are the best in Nigerian history — Lai Mohammed

President Muhammadu Buhari’s N75 billion National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF), among other initiatives targeted at creating jobs for the youths and alleviating poverty among women and vulnerable groups remain the best in the history of the country, the federal government has said.  The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, stated this in Kaduna at a meeting of the Northern Governors Forum with traditional rulers on the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest. “No government in the history of this country has ever methodically and seriously put in place measures aimed at addressing poverty alleviation and creating jobs for youths like this administration,” he said.
