Young woman dies from brain injury after she was allegedly robbed and pushed out of moving Keke by suspected robbers in Jos

The deceased identified as Tamara Daspan died from traumatic brain injury she suffered after she was pushed out of the moving commercial tricycle.

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the moment, however, it was gathered that the incident happened on Monday, June 21.

The University of Abuja graduate was said to have been rushed to a hospital where she underwent a brain surgery but sadly didn't make it.

Meanwhile, family and friends have taken to social media to mourn her untimely death. Her brother, Daspan Michael wrote;

"GONE TOO SOON: Tamara Daspan ,Sister Just can't believe you are gone but nothing is going to deter us from worshipping the Lord .... Through trials and tribulations Our faith remains stilled with the Lord ... Go Well The Daspan's Princess ,Go Well"

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Maiduguri Zonal Command, has arrested a 28-year-old Islamic teacher over alleged sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old student. A statement issued by the agency on Thursday, August 5, said the suspect, Yanga Abdullahi of Maura ward, is a teacher at Darul-Arqam Islamiyya school, Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. "The suspect sexually exploited a 16-year-old girl of Mairi Kuwait area, Maiduguri, Borno State. She is a student of the suspect at Darul-Arqam Islamiyya school Maiduguri." the statement read.

Tension in Enugu as policeman shoots 27-yr-old Law student to death

There is tension in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State over the death of a 27-yr-old 500 level Law student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Augustine Ugwu, who was allegedly murdered by an officer of Nigeria Police Force at Nsukka. The deceased was said to have gone to a beer parlour at Odobido in Nsukka council area with his friend (name withheld) where he was trailed by a local security outfit constituted by the chairman of the local government area, Patrick Omeje.
