My appointments and policies have been fair and inclusive - President Buhari says those threatening Nigeria's peace will be brought to book

President Buhari has said that all his appointments and policies are premised on equity and inclusiveness. The President said this at a conference organized for youths in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja today June 21.

Represented at the event by the Sectary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Boss Mustapha, the president said there is no part of the country that has not been impacted positively in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, and economic support initiative based on peculiarities of the regions. The President vowed to bring those threatening the peace of Nigeria to book.

“So far, all the policies, initiatives, projects and even appointments by this administration have been guided by equity and inclusiveness.

As you are all aware, we are currently dealing with some internal security challenges and I would like to reassure you that as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, no effort will be spared in tackling them,”

As I have repeatedly said in recent weeks, every criminal element that has taken up arms against the peace of the country and its citizens will be brought to book accordingly”he said

The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Ab*ses and Other Matters (Lagos EndSARS Panel) has reported the Lekki Tollgate sh*otings of October 20, 2020, as a mas*acre. The panel indicted soldiers and implicated Nigeria’s security agents in the k*lling and forced disappearances of harmless and unarmed youths protesting at Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020.
