One thing Nigeria has in common with Australia, others, is peace — Pres. Buhari



Nigeria is as peaceful as Gambia, South Korea, Slovak, Australia, Bagladesh and Guinea Bissau, President Muhammadu Buhari has said. 

The president said this in Abuja, while receiving letters of credence from the envoys of the six countries, on Thursday, March 25. 

“In addition to the fraternal relations between us, the one thing Nigeria has in common with your countries is peace. Peace is priceless, desirable and crucial to sustainable development and achieving the targets set by the UN global initiatives.

It is therefore imperative for us to work individually and bilaterally for sustainable peace. Achieving global peace is vital to attaining food security. Peace and food security should be pursued simultaneously,” he said.

NBA Youngboy now a father of 7 at age 21 after welcoming child with Yaya Mayweather

NBA YoungBoy, who turned 21 in October 2020, has welcomed his 7th child already.   The Baton Rouge, Louisiana-born rapper welcomed his 7th child with Yaya Mayweather, the 20-year-old daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr.   Back in October, Yaya’s father, Floyd Mayweather Jr., confirmed that his daughter and NBA YoungBoy were expecting their first child, saying: "I just want the best for my daughter, always want the best. If that makes her happy, then we’re happy, me and her mother are happy."   Just last year, on November 26, while awaiting the birth of his seventh child, Youngboy welcomed his 6th child with actress Drea Symone.   His 6th and 7th children are less than 2 months apart in age.   YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, began having kids as a teenager. 39-yr-old man caught defiling a mentally-challenged minor under a tree

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command, has arrested a 39-year-old man, Segun Oni, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl in Igbaja area of the state. The command’s spokesperson, Babawale Afolabi, in a statement said the suspect was arrested on Monday, June 14, 2021, after the victim’s grandfather reportedly caught the suspect in the act under a mango tree. Afolabi stated that after a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the victim was suffering from congenital mental deficiency “which has impaired her communication and social skills. Literarily, she hardly talks to people.” The statement said a medical report obtained from a hospital in Ijagbo town showed penetration and bruises in the victim’s private area. The suspect confessed that on several occasions he lured the young girl with gifts to isolated areas to take advantage of her, Afolabi added.
