US election: Hillary Clinton endorses joe biden to unseat trump

Hillary Clinton, former United States, US, Democratic presidential candidate, has declared support for Joe Biden as the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party.

Hillary made the declaration during a live event with Biden on Tuesday.

She stated that she was thrilled to be part of Biden’s campaign

“As we face Coronavirus, Joe has been a voice. I want to add my voice to the many, who have endorsed you to be our president,

“I wish you were president right now. Think of what it would mean if we had a real president not just somebody who plays one on TV.

“It’s a real pleasure to be here with you and to be part of this very important discussion. And I am thrilled to be part of your campaign to not only endorse you, but to help highlight a lot of the issues that are at stake in this presidential election.”

Recall that Bernie Sanders, Biden’s main rival, endorsed him too.

Sanders decision means Biden will emerge as presidential candidate of the Democratic Party unopposed.

NAPTIP arrests Islamic teacher for sexually exploiting 16 year old student in Maiduguri

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Maiduguri Zonal Command, has arrested a 28-year-old Islamic teacher over alleged sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old student. A statement issued by the agency on Thursday, August 5, said the suspect, Yanga Abdullahi of Maura ward, is a teacher at Darul-Arqam Islamiyya school, Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. "The suspect sexually exploited a 16-year-old girl of Mairi Kuwait area, Maiduguri, Borno State. She is a student of the suspect at Darul-Arqam Islamiyya school Maiduguri." the statement read.

Nigerians help me, my friend duped me – Actor Mr Portable cries out

Popular Nollywood Yoruba actor and producer, Olu Olowogemo Arijan also known as Mr Portable, has called on Nigerians to come to his aid after his friend duped him of his money. Corps member slumps and dies in rivers state

A corps member, Atiye Florence Aduke reportedly slumped and died following an incident which occurred in her apartment at Abua Odual LGA in Rivers state where she was serving. . The member of 2019 Batch C, Stream 2 of the youth program who slumped and hit her head against a wall in her house on Wednesday May 27, died on Saturday May 30 after being rushed to the hospital. . Friends and loved ones of the deceased have taken to social media to pen down tributes to her.
